Grout Definition

Grout refers to a paste cement or mortar used for filling and sealing gaps between tiles. This construction material creates a waterproof seal and is used to seal crevices, cracks or joints. It is a mixture of water, cement, sand, often color tint, and sometimes fine gravel.
