Geisha Girl Definition

In antique, Geisha girl refers to Japanese porcelain depicting Japanese girl wearing kimonos. In the late 19th centuries these were made in Japan mainly for export.  These pieces were cheap and often sold in dime stores and as free premiums marked with the store name. Sometimes, a complete dinner set will be Geisha girl. Presently, around 150 patterns are identified.
