Egg Tempera is related to the most classic medium used for painting. Egg tempera is made by mixing the egg yolk with color pigments. Egg tempera is a watercolor medium, it dries very fast. By adding water the required consistency of the tempera is maintained by an artist. Egg tempera is not waterproof but is water-resistant. It is used for permanent, fine works.
