Copyright Definition

The term ‘copyright’ refers to the legal right which is granted exclusively to the author or creator of an original work to exploit , use, copy, alter, or distribute it. It is a kind of intellectual property. Normally, copyright is denoted by the symbol, a circled “C,” and also includes the name of the person to whom the copyright is granted. Copyright law helps in regulating the use of the work of an artist by others.
