Coca Cola Definition

Coca-Cola, in the context of antiques, refers to the traditional Coca-Cola containers, promotional items, or any other collectibles using the word 'Coca-Cola.' Coca-Cola is a carbonated soft drink that is a staple of the U.S. and the worldwide culture. The drink was first made by Atlanta pharmacist John Pemberton in 1886. Right from the beginning Pemberton spent huge amounts on marketing and advertisements. The company is well known for its mass advertising.   Coca-Cola used a number of promotional materials such as thermometers, coolers, trays, calendars, Santa figurines, ornaments, lamps and clocks to market its products. All these included the Coca-Cola logo and red-white color scheme. All these items are collected by Coca-Cola collectors.  Antique coke signs, carriers, and vending machines are also seen collected.
