Beehive Tomb Definition
A structure, generally built into a hill that appears dome shaped on the outside with a horizontal passage entering and continuing through the dome. Different cultures around world utilized similar beehive structures for different purposes. Most notably, beehive tombs were used for burials, but some cultures also used them as homes or fortification.
