Bauhaus Definition

Bauhaus is a famous German art school that dealt with fine arts, crafts, and design.  It was started by Walter Gropius in 1919. The main aim of this school was to create total work of all arts. This school later influenced the modern design. The school had great influence on developments of art, typography, interior design, architecture etc.
