Spirit of Place: Don Gummer, Drawings and Wall Reliefs, 1975-2015 - Waterbury, Connecticut

A floor sculpture will be created for the exhibition at the Mattatuck. This retrospective of wall relief sculptures by Don Gummer reaches from the 1970s to the present. Gummer’s multi-layered sculptures, and the drawings that accompany them, reference architectural history from Renaissance Italy to traditional Japan to colonial house design.
