The Society of American Bayonet Collectors

The Baltimore Bead Society is a regional organization in Maryland of bead enthusiasts, creative artists, and jewelry designers across a broad spectrum of bead-related and jewelry-making fields.

The society was founded in 1989 and is dedicated to the study, discussion and exchange of information about beads and beadwork.

The purpose of the Central California Bead Society is to perpetuate the art of beadwork through education, the exchange of ideas and the sharing of experiences while promoting and stimulating this historical art form.

The objectives of the Society are to promote education and research regarding beads and bead-related subjects, and to provide support to bead collectors, designers, and enthusiasts.

From a small group of ten women who shared a common interest in beads, the Bead Society has now grown into a group of more than 200 members.
