Big & Bold Selections from the Collection

May 27 - October 23, 2016 - This exhibition examines how there are an infinite number of ways to see anything. We can see an object up close and from every angle, or partially obscured and from afar. We can see in near darkness, or in sunny outdoor light. How we see something naturally affects our judgments about that thing. From light years away, stars appear as romantic points of light against the night sky. Up close, they would be unspeakably large gaseous spheres of continually exploding energy.
