The Morris Lions Club holds an annual Fall Classic Car Show at Lyondell Basell Recreation Area each year. It is one of the largest car shows in the area, it features not only up to 1225 classic show cars, but also offers a Swap Meet and Car Corral for those wishing to browse or buy cars or car related items. The many food vendors will be waiting as well with a variety of goodies to round out a wonderful day.
This is a judged show, featuring 43 classes with 3 awards per class, for a $20 registration fee for those not already pre-registered. Eight special awards will also be given, such as Best Display, Club Participation, and Longest Distance Traveled to the show. Also, each year a set amount of show cars will receive Dash plaques, as they register their cars. Spectators can attend for a $5.00 donation, and will enjoy seeing the cars, shopping at the Swap Meet and Car Corral, and visiting the many food vendors. Tickets will be available for the Raffle Car.
